A too quick visit to Guncle Land

Instead of going directly to Disney with my nieces, I flew into Jax to see my bros.

Who could resist an evening of laughter, crafting, and delicious food?

All set in a festive background of haunting, Halloween decor.

Plus some cute doggies to cuddle. There was shrimp so fresh that it had been swimming that morning.  Wait, do shrimp swim? Or do they walk on the sea floor?

I’m not sure how they get around, but thankfully, these guys didn’t get far – they were snagged and fed to me.

After dinner, it was art room time.  Randy had seen on fb how I’d been painting swans in my own studio, and found white one that could use some time with the paintbrush.  It was at World Market for only forty bucks.  I loved it as is- well made, cute shape, good size, but was happy to make a little face for her.

And I’ll be running to local World Market at home to get one to add to my own collection.  Isn’t it pretty?

Our night was just the best.  And a perfect kick off for a blessed week with even more family!
