What a perfect Christmas we had! I hope yours was too.
How can things go badly when you have a giant box of gifts arrive in the mail, a new Care Bears outfit to wear and a best friend to share it all with???
My buddy, Beth, came by for brunch on Christmas day and brought the most beautiful hand made book for me. 
She and I are both avid collectors of old wallpaper, and she made this book to showcase her collection of papers.
Inside the cover, was this sentiment, a rule that I live by!
Our Christmas was about all the simple pleasures-
finding just the right gift for someone you love-
Leaping into the air with excitement over an unexpected surprise-
Laughing with your family-
Being cozy by a warm fire with some great companions-
Building a snow princess, complete with crown and magic wand-
(then getting into a snowball fight, see it about to begin?)
Having just THE PERFECT dress to wear for the occasion-
Playing a game of pool with your favorite cousin-
Cuddling up with the world’s sweetest great grandma-
A big bowl of festive punch-
Gathering together with friends and family for a feast-
Like I said, it was Perfect.

Oh my gosh! My mother made me a Cheer Bear costume for Halloween one year, that looked almost identical to Sugarwings’. She looks much cuter than I did in mine! I’m glad you had a wonderful Christmas with your family. We are certainly counting our blessings in mine since my 87 yo grandad came through open-heart surgery last week!

Oh gosh! That care bear outfit is adorable. So is your whole family. We bought my youngest son an electric guitar and I swear he had the same look on his face. LOL I love that book Beth sent you too. You two are lucky to have each other!
