A surprise package!

Fingerpainting 044
My friend, Angie was setting up an estate sale and asked me if I wanted to do a little early shopping.  Of course I did!

When I got there, she said she had something for me in my car and would set it in my front seat while I shopped.  Not only did I buy some great sneak peak goodies from her sale, this basket of beauties was waiting for me when I left!

The sewing basket itself was a great pink color and a thoughtful gift, but wow! Once I looked inside, I was just shocked.  Here is just a few of the tidbits she added to the package.

Thanks, Angie!

This pretty card was inside too. I scanned it to share with you. Just click on it to open in a larger window to save and print.

And today, this pack of pretties came in the mail for Birdsong from one of my new  Paper Cowgirl friends, Terri.

So many people have been generous with their gifts to the ladies at our arty party coming up. Thanks!

The countdown has begun, and THIS is what the studio looks like right now.  Can you picture 25 ladies creating in this mess??

I've got some work ahead of me…

Plus I am teaching two classes this year, so I have two kits to still assemble yet.

Oh well, it all pulls together some how!  But it won't happen if I don't get doing it, so I'm off to work.

Wow Karla…you so have got your hands full!!!
Here’s what I would do…Friday night.. crank the music.. loud and get a rocking in that creative place of yours and FOR SURE avoid any wine as that’s bound to slow the progress down no doubt!!!
You go girl…you can do it…if your like me at all you probably love the last minute rush of it!!!!
    Good luck!!!

  2. I am having estae sale withdraws LOL I need to find a great estate sale and shop
so nice to have a friend who has esate sales, a great way to find vintage items
love your pink and white studio and so glad to see it’s packed, wall to wall. makes me feel better about mine LOL

  3. What lovely surprises… You deserve them after all your work and your spring!!! I love looking at your pretty workspace, yeah, even when it’s cluttery… maybe especially when it’s cluttery… It makes me feel as if I could someday do more with my heart’s desire.. I don’t think I could ever do one of those rooms that speak to you with ordered, same-colored boxes with computer matched tags… I drool over them, but couldn’t ever do that… Your order within the hubbub… I might do… I love the idea of Birdsong.. I might do that some spring if you keep having it… when I retire… I will be thinking about you all… Enjoy the Easter break… Give your fairy grandbabies a hug.
