As hard as it is to part with the besties, they sure elevate anything you make. I turned these little vintage postal bags into something I really love by adding my favorite things to them.
I'm hoping to make something special tonight just for the party too. There are some supplies I have been eyeing…. its time to delve in and enjoy them!

I may just take the plunge and at least look through some besties ( tehehe, almost typed beasties ) tomorrow when the dogs are out of the house and I can be sure nobody disturbs me. And if I feel very brave…………. who knows what might happen.

Funny you should post this topic. I just found my bronze ormolu in the garage and made a blog post about it! I plan on using some of it for my new headboard and footboard, perhaps some to make a trumeau mirror?
The ormolu is so special I would hate to use it in the wrong craft and make it look bad so the task is a bit intimidating!
I admit, I am struggling with this challenge. I get out the good stuff, admire it, and then store it away again. However, I am going to rise to this challenge. xxoo Valarie

Can’t wait to see, Karla. I planned to make myself a necklace. Well, I have been doing some international swaps and I did give away the good stuff but I haven’t made anything (except for creatively decorating the packages). It is giving me a lot of pleasure right now. Just don’t have the energy to create much beyond that. Perhaps I will take pictures of the envelopes and boxes! Or maybe I will make myself that necklace!
