Holiday Girth

Xmas decor 08 367

After all the fudge and tiramisu and ham and cookies and turkey and the rest, I feel a bit like Twinks looks right now.

No puppies yet, but the way she was complaining last night, I thought they might be on their way. Nope, false alarm.   Sugarwings is fascinated to hear about the puppies in her dog's tummy, she doesn't quite get the whole thing.  But she did bring Twinkle a book about puppies from her toy box.

Lots of people are asking, so I wanted to let you know, there will certainly be updates and baby pictures as soon as the little ones arrive.

And maybe a name the puppy contest??

  2. Karla, I was just thinking about Twinks and just when her baby’s are due. I just cannot wait to see her puppy’s.

  4. Could you just pop one in a flat rate box for me. I would adore a little puppy lol. She looks so sweet and so kind of Sugarwings to bring her a book. Donna

  6. Oh puppies are such fun. My doxie had 6 her first (and only) litter. The vet was so surprised. It was great watching them grow. I used a small round plastic swimming pool as a “bed” for mother and babies. I put clean towels into it every morning (really as needed) and it was easy to keep clean. Mom could come and go as she pleased, but it kept the babies in one place for almost 6 weeks. Good luck with the babies. Roxie

  7. Sounds like the pitter patter of little feet should be soon. How exciting for you !
Karla, you had asked about the product I bought for my hair. The product I use on my hair to control the frizzies is from Pureology – their SUPERSTRAIGHT line. my hairdresses used the shampoo and conditioner on me there, along with AntiFade Complex – I only purchased the AntiFade Complex because it is actually a Relaxing Hair Serum (for the frizzies). only use on hair shafts – starting at the bottom and working up – NONE on the roots. Blow dry using a round brush until nearly dry, then use a curling iron or flat iron to ‘set’ the straightness. it sounds like a lot of work but now I only have to wash my hair every 3 days cause it’s not messy and doesn’t look dirty or oily AND it stays straight and not frizzy. I use Redkin shampoo and he said that was very good to keep using. I also bought ‘deeep’ by ‘Bumble and bumble’. a 20 min. once a week deep conditioner.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

  9. Hi Karla
Twinks looks so adorable and so BIG! I feel a bit like her right now as we just had another feast for my son’s birthday – had 10 of his good friends over for lasagna, salad, ham and some good ol’ fashioned apple pies! I know how Twinks is feelin!
Hope all goes well for her and her bambinos and I look forward to seeing their pictures!
