Well, my computer is back. And it works. But- many of the things I paid to have backed up before it was wiped clean to get it running again are GONE. This is the only Paper Cowgirl photo I seem to have (its one that Lisa emailed to me), but am hoping to find most lost photos in the history file of picnik.
I guess if I only have one photo, this one is a fun one to keep. It kind of sums up the great weekend we had, there was plenty of laughing the whole time.
Not that I feel like laughing now…. all of my email files are gone. What a mess. I'm hoping that the Geek Squad has hidden them someplace where I was too dumb to look. So, back to Best Buy I go, trip #15 in 13 days. Good thing its here in town.

Oh, and if you are waiting to hear back from me on whether or not I have you on the swap list, sorry. This has been so confusing for me. I've tried to keep up with my Ipad, but didn't have my files on it, and now my files are missing any way. So, if you HAVE NOT heard back from me, consider yourself in, but please send me a note letting me know so I can pretend to keep track of who is in it. I have a printed record of up to #120, but we are closer to 135, so I might be missing a few of you… But please only contact me if I didn't return your email in the last 2 weeks. If you signed up earlier than that, I have you on my printed list.
Same thing with the dress form classes. I sure hope I didn't miss anyone!! If you have paid for the classes, and have not heard back from me with the passwords, please contact me.

My computer got the “windowsxp security 2011….worm..trojan horse…..whatever…….
I went through serious computer withdrawl during the three days the computed was in the shop being restored.
The people who trash our computers need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I know I would like to smack the fool upside the head a few times myself.

Bummer, that you are still having trouble. I borrowed my mom’s iPad (I WILL be getting my own), but it isn’t the same, as you say. Bon Chance, ’cause you got a ton of stuff to do and you need that PC! If you weren’t so far way I would volunteer to help you put together the Bird Song tags. Over 135 “swappers”…whew!

I was at a local fav store that I go to for inspiration and in there I saw a charm with a pic of a vintage lady and the words “middle aged fairy.” I couldn’t help bu think of you! And it made me smile!
Karla…I feel just horrible for you! Computer problems are sooo maddening…when I have them I’m fortunate enough to have TWO I-T guys for sons and can just call them up and they’re onto my machine in a flash making all things right again. Oh…according to my sons…the Geek Squad is comparable to willingly eating poisonous food…perhaps that’s why you’re continuing to have problems??!!??

Oh, Karla. I am so sorry to hear that. Seriously, go get yourself an external hard drive. They are pretty cheap now. Keep it plugged it and when you save something to your hard drive just save a copy to the external. Yeah, yeah, yeah…I know. Easy to say after the fact. What a couple of weeks you’ve had. Sorry about your puter woes…I feel your pain! I once lost everything on my computer! 🙁 I use an external hard drive now but teh last time my tech was here, he warned me that it is not safe from harm (as I thought) & I still need to back up. Dell has an online storage bank for $60 a year. I’m just going to use it….I hate backing this thing up.
