Little Gifties for Karlapalooza

Fairywindow_heather_072 Well, it is almost 2am as I write this, the night before my trip.  Did I mention I hadn’t packed yet?

I had Sugarwings most of the day and got a little bit behind.  I am a deep sleeper and can sleep anywhere, so will catch up on sleep tomorrow on the plane and do the dishes, pack and mail my quartely taxes tonight. Or is is already tomorrow?!

Fairywindow_heather_073 If I am doing this correctly, this post should publish on Sunday the 27th while I am at Karlapalooza (explanation in the previous post! But warning, it is a long one)

So, it should be safe to show you the gifts I am taking to my blog friends, this won’t post until after we are busily shopping.  I hope to be buying lots of old millinery flowers then!

I’ve promised Lori that I will find one for her, I don’t want to break my word!

This tussie mussie is for Lori in the theme of her blog, Faerie Window.Fairywindow_heather_074

This is for Heather at Pretty Petals.Fairywindow_heather_075

And  a birdie for Kitty at Reflections from the Stone Nest.Fairywindow_heather_079

With gathering up little treats to fill the tussies, I feel like Santa loading stockings!

Each cone will get:

a bag of berry candy, and some chocolate

rick rack

bath salts

white buttons

a vintage bridge talley card

and a bundle of odds and ends- millinery flowers, a blue bird feather, and some other little cute thingsFairywindow_heather_077

Since Heather is inviting us to her home for a picnic afterwords, I am bringing her a  hostess treat, a tiny book that I made.

And Lori is driving quite a bit to come for the day, so I wrapped up a few little vintage photos for her as a thank you, too.  I’ve heard her mention on her blog that she loves old pictures.

Hopefully, my next post will be full of my fab finds from the flea market! And hopefully, this posts correctly on Sunday!

I think I lost one post I did ahead of time, either that or I have no idea what I am doing, and I rewrote and reposted it and you’ll get the same thing twice.

oops.

  1. It worked! Doesn’t that feel like a great accomplishment when you conquer something involving technology like that? It does for me. Love the treats, lucky girls! You know you are going to have us all wanting to come along!

  6. Your little gifts are just SO lovely! I’m only a little bit jealous ;)! You have wonderful artistic talent, something I’d like to develop more of in myself. I just need to pick up my stash of supplies again!

  7. Karla… I LOVE my gifties, thank you so much! I have been playing with the little book today and hung the tussie from a hook in my living room. Thank you again so much, it was so thoughtful of you to include so many little treats for us as well.
