These buddies had a good time the other day. Dewdrop's parents came over to plant some trees for me, and instead of helping, this kiddo and I took the pups down the Fairy Berry Trail.
We have not used it as much this year as we usually do. Sugarwings and I have spent lots of time out there having tea parties and picnics in previous years, but this summer was so hot, and then we had the wild cat scare (no sign of him again), so the Fairy Berry Trail was avoided.
Dewdrop was thrilled with all the details. At Birdsong last spring, some of the ladies brought pretties to foof up the trail extra fairy-ish for us. And it really does look cute this season! Dewdrop looked around like it was her first time there, and I felt bad that it was all so new to her.
That trail in the woods is such a part of my heart, I didn't even realize this baby was too little to remember playing out there last spring. But it was fun to see it through her eyes again. She had to point out every single fairy to me.
I'll try to make it up to her before the weather gets too cold. But I am still a little worried about the Big Giant Cat that came through this summer. The trappers expect him back this winter and are returning to try to get him.
Maybe Dewdrop and I will wait till the cat is gone…. We might just play in the yard for now!
Sugarwings and I have been working on the yard. Or lack of yard, I guess I mean.
We spread some straw over the bare spots, hoping they would reseed for next summer.
Of course, we had some helpers.
The babies are growing. Albie Brave and Strong can now sit on command. Dorothy Rosebud can run in and out of the doggie door on her mom's coat tails.
The puppies are looking so adorable! Dewdrop looks like she’s enjoying a wheel barrow ride.
I LOVE Dewdrop’s purple velvet jacket! It sounds like the Fairy Berry Trail was an extra special treat for her.

I bet Twinkle is happy to still have 2 of her pups around so she doesn’t have to have a totally empty nest! Bet you are happy to not have a totally empty puppy nest, too!
What an incredible Grammy you are! To slow down and really spend time with them. What a priceless treasure you give Dewdrop and Sugarwings. You remind me of my beloved grandma who took us “bumming” (that is our code word for shopping without purchasing) and then afterwards the extra special treat of dinner at McDonald’s. My grandma loved that place… I know why I still love it today. It brings make so many wonderful memories of my childhood with my Grandma.
the pictures are adorable! all babies the cutest! i think the first one is my favorite but that’s hard to say for sure.
I hope these guys have memories like that of me. I know Ill always treasure these times.
Bumming!? Cute ! My mom used to call it feeling when wed shop and just look. It was a big entertainment for us

That is a Baby Gap jacket that I got at goodwill. I buy most things second hand when I can. Personally, Ive never once stepped into a Baby Gap store, but Im always excited to find that label at thrift shops. Gorgeous clothes.

Great pictures and the puppies are really coming into their own and growing up. I love the names and the pictures are priceless. I’ll bet you are glad and sad at the same time to have the rest of the puppies be adopted. We finally got a little puppy, Lucy Budash, and we are in love with her.
