Visiting hours

My poor computer is still ill. After only a few hours of having her at home with me, she started feeling bad again and had to be rushed back to the specialist.
Every day I go visit her at the Geek Squad with high hopes of bringing her home. They always say she is ready to go, but she never is. I don't give up, I keep hoping that someday soon, she'll perk up and be ready to come home to me.
Three times today I was called to pick her up, three times I went to get her. Three times she had relapses and wasnt able to leave with me, but at least I got to hold her and spend a few precious moments with her.
Her memories of me and all of our favorite times together are now gone. The Geeks say that she is strong and healthy and we can build new memories together. For now, they are trying to help her recover as much as they can.
I have lots of Paper Cowgirls photos to show you, but don't know how to do it with this IPad. Hopefully, I'll have a real post soon.

  1. Oh, sadly, I so understand what you are saying. My comp. has been on the outs for 2 weeks now, and seems to have it’s own mind about when it will do anything!
If it decides to stay on, it takes it’s own sweet time to do anything. I’ve resigned myself to my sweet fellas laptop, which unfortunately has none of my programs, or photos.
Here is hoping our frustration will soon be over.
    blessings, and sympathetic hugs.

  2. I feel your pain! I am writing from my new laptop while my picture filled desktop sits near me unable to share all its wonder. His monitor went to sleep and wouldn’t wake up again. While I am enjoying the youth and magic of this laptop, nothing can make up for the old, loved, heavy desktop that is unable to communicate with me and share its wisdom. 🙁

  3. Oh, you poor thing! Well…if I know you, you’re getting a zillion other things done while being forced “offline”! (Between visits to your beloved computer, I mean!)

  4. Oh, Karla,
I sympathize. There are many things I don’t know what to do on my IPad. Makes me very sad. I don’t even know if we can do it on the IPad. That is why I hesitate to make it the only computer I take on a trip. How pathetic is that! Hope your computer gets well very soon!
    Hugs,

  5. I feel your pain!! My computer was at the computer hospital fro the last four days with a nasty virus that they had to keep getting rid of over and over and it kept sneaking back. Finally it is gone. I was calling twice a day to check on the progress–. This is the first time I have had a virus–the computer guy said there are some nasty new resistant viruses around in the last few months! Hope you get yours back soon!!

  6. Well I agree with Laurie – you’re probably creating like a whirling dervish with all the extra time on your hands – or maybe getting extra baby lovin time:)
Hope that you’re back together soon!
